Midnight Walk

The Midnight Walk was developed by Mood Hood, who is also the developer of Lost in Random. Although I haven’t played Lost in Random, I watched the trailer, and it looks really similar. The only difference is that The Midnight Walk is a first-person horror game.
In the game, you play as a character called The Burnt One, who woke from a deep slumber after the end of the world, as revealed in the trailer. You befriend a little lantern creature who travels with you throughout the game. The game focuses on the use of fire a lot, which is really interesting.
I want this game because I’ve been playing many shooter and horror games, and gaming is getting really boring. I haven’t been playing cozy-horror games like Little Nightmares and Bendy, and I think it will bring back some nostalgia.
The Midnight Walk is coming out May 8th, and I’m honestly pretty excited. It’s probably the next game I’m going to get. It is also supported by PSVR, which is pretty cool.
The music for the trailer is pretty good, written by Joel Bille and Bortre Rymden. Music in gaming is really important, and I always listen to it, so I’m really happy to know that I’ll get to listen to more music.

In conclusion, The Midnight Walk promises to be a captivating and immersive experience, blending unique stop-motion visuals, an intriguing post-apocalyptic world, and a mix of puzzle, stealth, and strategy gameplay. The game’s eerie atmosphere, paired with the companionship of the lantern creature, offers a fresh take on cozy horror that feels nostalgic yet new. With its thoughtful design, engaging mechanics, and beautiful music, it’s clear that The Midnight Walk has the potential to reinvigorate the gaming experience for those seeking a break from traditional shooter and horror games. As the release date draws near, there’s no doubt that fans of this genre, especially those drawn to its striking art style and haunting world, will be eagerly awaiting the opportunity to step into this dark and dream-like adventure.
